I think it would be a great community service to provide the names of local people who have taken the required classes to be wildlife rescue and rehabilitators for wildlife. I know that we have people who will care for injured birds and turtles and other reptiles. I've called a girl named Janet at 425-4972 for help with birds. And I've called Alley Travis at 527-5132 (this may be an old number) before. I got her name from the animal emergency clinic at 864-2844. This would be a great tool for people who find injured or orphan wildlife.

This is Pippin. We should have named this adorable Shipoo Miss Poppins because she stands just like Mary Poppins with her feet out! Pippin is 2 this August , we have had her since she was 6 weeks old. Pippin thinks she is really a cat because Cupcake taught her everything she knows. She balances on top of the backs of furniture the higher the better and uses her paws to swat like a cat. She also covers her business with dirt like a cat when she goes outside. She makes cooing sounds and tries very hard to meow! They are best of friends.

This is Cupcake. My old cat Moe of 18 years decided to bring her home one day. She was only about 3 weeks old and separated from her mother. Moe took over as daddy and we kept her. Cupcake is now 9 years old and just a love.
