Boxer Lost Nov. 6, 2009

Brown and white male boxer named Warrior was last seen on Friday, November 6, 2009. My sister has been dog-sitting since December 24, 2008. His owner, SFC Mario Sanchez, was reunited with his dog Warrior when SFC Sanchez returned to Fayetteville three weeks ago for R&R. Sanchez will return home in December after serving 12 months in Afghanistan.

We are just sick about this situation. My sister didn't even know Sanchez when she volunteered to dog-sit Warrior. She only thought that she would provide a safe, clean, and happy environment for Warrior while Sanchez was away. Just a minor way to help the troops. My sister purchased the wireless collar after Warrior jumped her privacy fence several times and the wireless collar worked successfully until November 6th. We think that a second collar Warrior had on prevented the wireless collar from working correctly.

Warrior was last seen on Tollhouse Drive which is off of Morganton Road near Reilly Road. He is a friendly dog and is wearing a red wireless collar. He does have a microchip.

If anyone has seen or found him, please let us know. We are offering a reward. Thanks for your help.

Dog Lost Oct. 5, 2009

Our 6 month old Pug, George, was last seen on October 5, 2009 beside Hwy 11 in Deep Run (near Kinston) about 7:00 or 7:30pm. I know this is a ways from Fayetteville but we are desperate to find our baby so we are placing ads everywhere. He was wearing a collar which included his rabies tag from Riverbank Animal Hospital.

Cockatiel Lost Nov. 4, 2009

On Wednesday (11/4/2009), he flew from his cage when the bottom fell out while I was placing his cage on the porch so he could get some sunshine. He flew up into a high pine tree, and I could not see him but could hear him.

Yesterday morning (11/5/2009) was the last time I heard him. He was last heard on Woodland Drive by Snyder Baptist Church in the Haymount Community. He answers to Jo Jo or Joey. His flying skills are not the greatest so he may be gravitating from tree to tree. He is gray and white with bright orange cheeks. He's very healthy and very vocal. Our four year old black and White Akita has been missing since Sunday October 25, 2009. He was last seen on Poplar drive which is right off of hope Mills Road. His name is Kilo. He is a friendly dog and is wearing dog tags that Stephan Stearns.

Lost Dog Oct. 16, 2009

2-year-old, female, English bulldog, white with brown spots and a lot of freckles. Extremely friendly and "chunky", her name is Canela (cinnamon in Spanish). She weights about 65 pounds.

She went missing between 6:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. on Friday October 16, 2009 from 338 Tuxford Place in Fayetteville. Neighborhood is Strattford Hills. She has the Home Again microchip and an alert has been put out on the system.

3-month-old black puppy named Jade. She had a blue collar and a red bandanna on when she went missing. She was last seen on the Mazerick Park side of Bragg Blvd. near Havilah and Anerine streets.

7-year-old male Australian Shepherd that has not been neutered. He weighs about 60 lbs., is brown and tan with white under his neck and has a docked tail. At the time of his disappearance he was wearing a leather collar with info. and rabies tag on it.

Two Lost Dogs Sept. 26, 2009

My dogs Sydney and Star went missing on 26 Sept 09, at approximately 6pm. Our dogs are like children to us and we would do anything to have them back. We love them dearly and hope that an honest person will keep them safe for us and return them.

Sydney is a small boxer mix, she looks like a small brown boxer with a tail. She has a large scar on her left hind leg from the top of her thigh, to the knee, from a recent surgery.

Star is a small chihuahua mix that is white with brown spots. They were last seen on Blackbird Road and Rim Road in Fayetteville, NC. At the time they went missing, they did not have on collars. They DO have microchips in their necks for tracking.

Dog Lost Week of Aug. 17, 2009

My family went on vacation last week and a family member dog watched my little sister's toy chihuahua. While we were gone my little sister's dog crawled through one of the holes in the chain link fence. My aunt did not immediately notice the dog was missing. Sad to say she was unable to find Rosie (my little sister's chihuahua).

Rosie is a white and tan toy chihuahua and very shy. When she escaped the backyard she was not wearing a collar. She was last seen in a neighborhood off of main street in Hope Mills. Our family misses Rosie very much! If anyone has seen or knows anything about our missing chihuahua please contact us.

Dog Lost August 11, 2009

She was a stray that we have been taking care of since May.She is a pitbull mix.We had her spayed and she was last seen on 8/11/09 on Farrar Dairy Road/ Darroch Road in the Anderson Creek Area.She goes by the name "Little Girl or Peyton".

She had on a pink striped collar with her rabies tag on it. She has a front leg that has an old fracture. She holds this leg up. She is very friendly.

Dog Lost July 4, 2009

Missing since July 4th evening from Biazza Ridge neighborhood, Ft. Bragg Neutered male, 30lbs, 7 years old (not evident from teeth or attitude), Blue Heeler (cattle dog) / Dachshund mix, blue/grey coat with black mask and a few other black spots. Was not wearing a collar but does have micro chip. Fairly odd looking with large front feet that turn out, long body, tail curls over back sometimes. Very friendly, knows many commands, as well as tricks.

We are desperate to find him and miss him terribly. We have put out signs all over post, but have received no response. If you have our dog or know who does please let us know. We are devastated without him. We would appreciate ANY information. Please help us find our friend.

Dog Lost Wednesday, May 27, 2009

At or about 3:00 PM on Wednesday, May 27th Macie asked to go out to potty in her fenced in yard and then her owner answered the telephone. When her owner looked out, Macie was gone. Macie lives in the Eutaw area around Cain and Rogers Road.

Macie is a poodle mix, with shorter legs and a wider snout than most poodles have. She has shorter legs than a poodle and is small enough to sneak through a small opening and obviously did.

Macie is a rescue dog. She weighed less than five pounds when we adopted her and has/had health problems. She weighed 13 pounds at her last vet appointment. She’s a chubby little girl, who is very docile and will belly-up (lay and sleep on her back) on a regular basis.

Macie has a very pronounced underbite (her lower teeth hang out over her top teeth).

This is a photo of Macie immediately after her grooming appointment. Macie had an appointment to be groomed the day after she left; therefore, her hair will appear longer, darker and more curly than what is shown in the photograph.

Macie had on a blue collar when she left.

Lost Dog April 5, 2009

I am looking for my dog. He is a salt and pepper male Schnauzer named Kujo and is wearing a red collar .He has been my constant companion for approximately 10 years.

He was last seen on Sunday, April 5, 2009 between 5 and 7 pm. I let him out to go and take care of his business as I always did and he disappeared from my fenced back yard. I live off Langdon Street in the vicinity of FSU and Smith HS. I have visited the animal shelter in Fayetteville several times and he has not been picked up. I will continue to visit the shelter and explore other areas in hopes of finding him.

Also, I recently placed an ad in the newspaper (Fayetteville Observer). He’s very lovable, has a tendency not to eat when he’s away from home, and does not like the rain. Found Pitbull Nov. 26, 2009

A black Pitbull with white markings was found in the Bridgeport Subdivision, which is located off Johnson Mill Road. He is very friendly and seems taken care of, just lost.

He was seen running around last night, 26 November, at around 9 pm and when we woke up this morning, he was still running the neighborhood. He is now in our backyard. Our cell phone numbers are 910-366-9895 or 910-366-9897.

A rat terrier was found in the Woodfield Subdivision off of Pamalee Drive. He appears to be young, isn't microchipped or neutered. He was not wearing a collar and has a sore on his foot. He is very friendly and loving. Good with other dogs and small children.

Found Basset Hound Nov. 13, 2009

Found white Bassett hound / lab mix in the old Ponderosa area off Sante fe Drive.

She is wearing a collar  but no tags. She has a pink nose and green eyes. She is shaped like a bassett with a lab head. She looks clean but may have a mild skin allergy.

She is great with other dogs and comes when I call her and is very, very loving.

Found Nov. 11, 2009

On Wednesday, Nov. 11, a medium size yellow female retriever / lab mix was struck by a car and the driver kept going in front of Show and Pro Paint & Body at Pepperbush and Bingham Dr.

I took the dog to Cape Fear Animal Hospital were she is doing fine but does have a broken leg. She will need surgery to correct and we are trying to find the owner of this dog. She is very sweet, had a collar on but no tags and doesn't have any chip to identify her.

Two Dogs Found Oct. 30, 2009

Two dogs were found in the Richburg, SC area along I-77. They are companion dogs, one is a boxer (white with a brown mark over left eye and neutered), the other is a black and white (Dalmation type and fixed). Both love to be in the car and are very well trained.

Two dogs were found running down Bailey Lake Road off of Strickland Bridge Road before the Fire Department. A male boxer, fairly young, white with tan markings and a female mixed breed, (maybe has some beagle or lab in her) also fairly young. Both were super sweet and calm in the car. Dog Wandering Neighborhood, Oct. 21, 2009

There is a black medium sized dog roaming around the neighborhood. There is no collar from what I can see. It's in Karen Lakes (right off Skibo Rd). It's a gated community. The dog has been here from my knowledge since Sunday 10/18. It seems friendly and likes the neighborhood dogs.

Dog Found July 23, 2009

Found a border collie male, black and white, maybe 2 years old in the Lake Shores area on Georgetown Circle. He is very well behaved, listens and loves to play ball.

Scared from thunderstorms and hides in the closet or small area from them. He loves to swim, has experience riding in the car, seems to have been well taken care of. Did not have a collar. Very friendly dog and very protective. He seems to be missing his owner.

A female chocolate lab was found on July 12th at Cypress Lakes Golf Course. The dog has an invisible fence collar. The dog was severely malnourished and dehydrated. She has been taken to the vet to see if she can be saved.

Dog Found July, 2009

A dog was found in the parking lot of Primo Pizza on Raeford Road at the Highland Centre shopping center (Harris Teeter). The dog is black/brown Lab mix and is about six months old. The dog is good natured and was wearing a blue collar when it was found.

Puppy Found July 1, 2009

Female puppy about 4 to 6 months old. She was found on Farrar Dairy Road in the Anderson Creek area. She had no collar or tag. She is very friendly and loving. It appears that she might have belonged to someone. She was not underweight and is very clean.

Dog Found Friday, June 12, 2009

Area of discovery: Murchison Road and/or Honeycutt Road - Smith Lake Riding Stables/Bike Trails area.

My daughter found a small dog running around at the stables tonight when she went out to feed our horse and she brought him home to give him some food and water (he's in a kennel outside in the side yard). He looks as if he's been running for a while as his ribs and bones are showing where they shouldn't be. We've provided dry dog food and water, as well as a cooked hamburger patty to give him a boost of protein. Noses the food around on the plate and appears to be very choosy about what he eats.

I am guessing he's the size of a whippet, male fixed, sandy color, and very sweet disposition. She's been calling him Sammy for the moment. Unfortunately we are NOT in a position to keep him (we already have a large number of pets to keep up with). Tomorrow (Saturday) we'll take him down to the clinic to see if he has been microchipped--prayerfully he will have one and we can return him to his owner. Update: Monday, June 15

No microchip at all and no calls so far. We have turned him over to the Fort Bragg Animal Control (no kill) who will evaluate and take car of him to put him up for adoption. I think my daughter said if he does have heartworms they will not be able to care for him. I'm not positive on that but that's what it sounded like. He's a sweet dog, gets along well with cats (we have 5 and my youngest daughter introduced him to them) and appears to get along well with other dogs too.

Dog Found Friday, June 12, 2009

My friend recently found a boxer. The dog is severally malnourished. She was not wearing a collar and does not have a micro-chip. She was taken to a vet with the thoughts that if she was spayed that she could be turned over to FAPS.

Unfortunately the vet said that he could not determine if the procedure had already been performed and she is in such a bad condition he didn't want to risk the operation at this time. he can only guess at her age as being between 1 and 5 years old. She is staying over night at the vet for monitoring but is expected to be released tomorrow.

From my understanding as I have not seen the dog, at this time she only weighs 13 lbs, but is in good spirits.

We are trying desperately to find a foster or permanent home for this sweet girl.
