Contest Entry Rules

The voting week starts each Monday and runs to the following Sunday. Weekly winners will be featured on 910Pets every Monday and in the Saturday Extra section of the Fayetteville Observer. Winners will receive a free pet bowl with a FayObserver.com logo. The prize will not be mailed to the winner. The winner can come down to the Fayetteville Observer building on Whitfield Street to claim their prize. Winners are ineligible to win again for six months.

Submitted photos must meet a minimum size of 150 dpi. Photos smaller than 150 dpi will be submitted to the online contest, however, they will be too small to run in the paper. The winner will need to send a larger picture if they would like it to run in the paper. Photos where the subject is not in focus or the image is too dark will not be used.

An individual photo can be submitted only once, but you may submit as many photos as you like at one submission per week. In the case that multiple photos are submitted by the same person during the voting week only one will be chosen, at our descretion, to be used in the current slideshow.

Only one vote will be counted on each photo per visitor, however, you may vote on as many photos as you like.

If you submit a photo through the mail and would like for it to be returned, please provided a self-addressed stamped envelope (SASE). Photos will not be returned if one is not provided.
